I'm hoping there are some decorators out there with great ideas who may be able to help me?

In my kitchen, my dinnete set sits in front of a wall that's a liitle over 9 feet wide. In the center of the wall is a large picture which is 351/2 inches wide, and about 28 inches long. Although this picture is a pretty good size, it doesnt take away from the fact that I have this bare corner behind the dinette set that haunts me everytime I look at it. A corner lamp won't work becuse a ceiling fan wih lights is located right above the dinette. I have racked my brain and can't come up with anything, probably because decorating really isn't my forte. Help!
