Is a digital camera flash dangerous to newborn rabbits eyes?

Yes it will stun them. The flash will actually hurt any bunnies. The flash may cause them to go into extreme stress and may blind them because they have just opened their eyes and they are just getting used to light. If you want to take a picture you should turn the flash off. You could brighten up the area or if they are outside you could wait until it is mid-day when it is the brightest. You could also just put them in the shade. (As long as it isn't too dark) Digital cameras don't need as much light as a disposable one.
