Why do Christians not commend L. Ron Hubbard for verifying KEY Biblical Doctrines?

i didn't read any of this but why would some nut job sci fi writer turned religion creator be used in any discussion involving the bible except for slander i mean christianity is crazy enough for the most of us scientology is just plain ridiculous
